Poppies in the Cactus Garden

This is the front cactus garden. Poppies are going wild. We let them bloom and then when they turn scraggly, we pull them. They reseed and come back the next year by themselves. That’s not my house in the background. Mine is behind the fence, and I like it that way, as you can imagine. More privacy. Less road noise.

  1. I’m amazed at all of the cactus. Does it get warm enough for them?

  2. Nada

I don’t think it is warm enough here. Like today it’s only 55 at almost noon. But they do really well here for some reason.

  3. Wishing you good sight.
